We believe in academic, experiential, wonder-filled, relational learning, and try to employ all of those whether we’re spending an hour with the 3 – 8 year olds in our SPROUTS Program, or living and working all season with our adult interns. Other ways we mentor (and learn) are by working with professors and students at local colleges, helping others start personal gardens or gardens that give, working and comparing notes alongside others in this field, hosting classes, workshops and tours, participating in panels and public speaking, writing articles, partnering with statewide food –related organizations, and then some.
